Au cours de ce mois, le Climate Awareness Student Club, en collaboration avec les Student Organizations, Leadership and Engagement, le Outloud Club, l’Africa Business School et le Sustainable Development Office, a organisé « Stories, Steps & Solutions: A Day for Climate Action », un programme de deux jours dédié à l’autonomisation des étudiants à travers le débat, le storytelling et une implication pratique dans l’action climatique sur le campus de l’Université à Benguerir.
Le programme a débuté par un débat climatique intitulé « Can We Innovate Our Way Out of the Climate Crisis? », au cours duquel les participants ont partagé différentes perspectives sur le rôle de l’innovation dans la résolution des défis environnementaux.
Un atelier de Storytelling for Climate Action a suivi, offrant aux étudiants l’opportunité d’explorer des outils narratifs dans la communication environnementale. Sur deux jours, les étudiants ont également participé à des activités d’éco-innovation DIY (Do It Yourself) et à un Climate Ideas Pitch, où ils ont travaillé en groupe pour développer et présenter des idées pratiques liées à la durabilité et à la résilience climatique.
During this month, the Climate Awareness Student Club, in collaboration with Student Organizations, Leadership and Engagement, Outloud Club, Africa Business School, and the Sustainable Development Office, organized ‘‘Stories, Steps & Solutions: A Day for Climate Action’’, a two-day program dedicated to empowering students through debate, storytelling, and hands-on climate engagement at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.
The program began with a climate debate titled “Can We Innovate Our Way Out of the Climate Crisis?” in which participants shared different views on the role of innovation in tackling environmental challenges.
A Storytelling for Climate Action workshop followed, giving students the opportunity to explore narrative tools in environmental communication. Over two days, students also engaged in DIY (Do It Yourself) eco-innovation activities and a Climate Ideas Pitch, where they worked in groups to develop and present practical ideas related to sustainability and climate resilience.
