L'Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique (UM6P) a lancé son module de formation au profit des Jeunes Leaders Mondiaux (YGL) du Forum Economique Mondial (WEF), sous une thématique principale : Libérer le potentiel de l'Afrique : Faire progresser la compétitivité économique de l'Afrique dans un monde incertain.
Accueillant du 19 au 23 juin la première cohorte de dirigeant.e.s d'entreprises, d’acteurs publiques et de la société civile de plus de 20 pays de 4 continents, cette édition constituait le premier rassemblement annuel du genre à avoir lieu au Maroc et le deuxième en Afrique depuis 2015.
L’UM6P rejoint ainsi le cercle restreint des Universités internationales à offrir des Modules de Formation pour les YGL en collaboration avec le WEF, dont Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge, Stanford, Oxford et NTU de Singapour.
Axé sur la connaissance de l’Afrique et la compréhension de son potentiel, ce voyage d'immersion intensif a exposé les YGL participant.e.s aux réalités géopolitiques, économiques, technologiques et environnementales de l'Afrique à travers les points de vue d'experts de renom.
Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) launched its training module for the Young Global Leaders (YGL) of the World Economic Forum (WEF), under the main theme: Unleashing Africa's potential: Advancing Africa's economic competitiveness in an uncertain world.
Hosting the first cohort of business, public and civil society leaders from over 20 countries on 4 continents from June 19 to 23, this edition was the first annual gathering of its kind to be held in Morocco, and the second in Africa since 2015.
UM6P thus joins the select circle of international universities offering Training Modules for YGLs in collaboration with the WEF, including Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge, Stanford, Oxford and Singapore's NTU.
Focused on getting to know Africa and understanding its potential, this intensive immersion trip exposed participating YGLs to the geopolitical, economic, technological and environmental realities of Africa through the perspectives of renowned experts.
