Benguerir, la ville de l’Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique, a mérité sa nomination au réseau UNESCO en renforçant ses infrastructures éducatives et socioculturelles. Les infrastructures de recherche dans la ville telles que l’UM6P et lycée d’excellence n’a fait que renforcer son positionnement.
Le maire de Benguerir, M. Abdelaati Bouchrit, a salué l’inclusion de la ville dans le réseau UNESCO. «Agissons ensemble pour un développement communautaire participatif et inclusif basé sur l’éducation et la formation pour tous», a-t-il déclaré dans une déclaration encourageante.
Un engagement permanent et une vision clairvoyante de Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI, fédératrice de synergies, à travers l’association d’autres acteurs institutionnels : départements ministériels, autorités provinciales, secteur privé, l’entreprise citoyenne OCP, et des acteurs de la société civile à même de permettre à la ville de Benguerir, en un laps de temps, de se doter d’une infrastructure universitaire des plus modernes et des plus prestigieuses à l’échelle mondiale, notamment du Lycée d’Excellence et de l’Université Mohammed VI polytechnique (UM6P).
Logée au cœur de la ville verte Mohammed VI, qui incarne en elle-même une ambition à la fois durable, économique, sociale et culturelle, UM6P est pleinement orientée vers la recherche appliquée et l’innovation et tournée vers l’Afrique, avec une grande ambition légitime de se faire une place de choix dans la cour des plus prestigieuses universités mondialement reconnues dans ces domaines.
Morocco’s Benguerir, Chefchaouen, Laayoune Join UNESCO Network Benguerir, in the Marrakech-Safi region, earned its appointment to the network by strengthening its educational and socio-cultural infrastructure. GNLC underlined the city’s important research structures such as the UM6P University, a higher education institution with an international vocational standard, as well as the School of Excellence, a scientific and technological school with a capacity of 3,000 students.
Benguerir Mayor Abdelaati Bouchrit welcomed the city’s inclusion in the network. “Let’s act together for a participatory and inclusive community development based on education and training for all,” he said in an encouraging statement.
A permanent commitment and a far-sighted vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, federator of synergies, through the association of other institutional actors: ministerial departments, provincial authorities, private sector, OCP, and actors of the civil society have allowed the city of Benguerir, in a short period of time, to equip itself with the most modern and prestigious university infrastructure on a global scale, in particular with the establishment of the High School of Excellence and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).
Located in the heart of the Green city Mohammed VI, which in itself embodies an ambition that is both sustainable, economic, social and cultural, UM6P is fully oriented towards applied research and innovation, and Africa Empowerment, with a great legitimate ambition to carve out a place of choice among the most prestigious universities recognized worldwide in these fields.
