L’Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique (UM6P) et l’Office de développement de la coopération (ODCO) ont procédé le 24 septembre 2020 à la signature d’une convention-cadre de partenariat, pour une durée de cinq ans, portant sur la promotion du secteur de l’économie sociale et solidaire au Maroc et en Afrique.
Ce partenariat s’inscrit dans la continuité des efforts déployés par les deux institutions pour l’accompagnement et le renforcement du secteur coopératif et son écosystème au Maroc et en Afrique dans un esprit d’innovation, d’expérimentation et de collaboration mutuelles. L’objectif est d’établir des synergies encourageant la réalisation des programmes d’accompagnement et de renforcement des compétences au service de l’inclusion sociale par l’économique.
En matière de recherche et développement, l’UM6P entend apporter son expertise à travers son laboratoire dédié aux coopératives, afin de développer des offres de formation et d’accompagnement innovant à destination des acteurs de l’économie sociale et solidaire au Maroc et en Afrique.
La convention définit également des axes de collaboration permettant de donner lieu à des conventions spécifiques pour la mise en œuvre d’actions ou projets contributifs au développement du secteur de l’Economie Sociale et Solidaire au Maroc et en Afrique à savoir :
• Le développement des offres de formation professionnelle destinées aux acteurs de l’économie sociale et solidaire au Maroc et en Afrique ;
• Développement des dispositifs d’appui et d’accompagnement innovants permettant le renforcement des capacités des acteurs de l’Economie Sociale et Solidaire, notamment les coopératives marocaines et africaines, afin de favoriser leur accélération et d’améliorer la compétitivité du secteur et son impact ;
• Promotion de la recherche-action et de l’expérimentation de nouvelles démarches outils innovants ayant trait au développement de l’économie sociale et solidaire ;
Cette convention permettra également aux deux institutions de renforcer l'échange de données et de bonnes pratiques en matière d’initiatives favorisant l’innovation et l’excellence des acteurs de l’économie sociale et solidaire et la création d’impact durable sur leurs écosystèmes locales et nationales.
The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the Office for the Development of Cooperation (ODCO) signed on September 24, 2020, a partnership agreement for a five-year period for the promotion of the social and solidarity economy sector in Morocco and Africa.
This partnership is in line with the efforts made by the two institutions to support and strengthen the cooperative sector and its ecosystem in Morocco and Africa in a spirit of innovation, experimentation and mutual collaboration. The objective is to establish synergies encouraging the implementation of support and capacity building programs for social inclusion through the economy.
In terms of research and development, UM6P intends to bring its expertise through its laboratory dedicated to cooperatives, in order to develop training and innovative support offers for actors of the social and solidarity economy in Morocco and Africa.
The agreement also defines the areas of collaboration to give rise to specific agreements for the implementation of actions or projects contributing to the development of the Social and Solidarity Economy sector in Morocco and Africa, including :
• The development of vocational training offers for actors of the social and solidarity economy in Morocco and Africa;
• The development of innovative support and accompaniment devices allowing the reinforcement of the capacities of the actors of the Social and Solidarity Economy, in particular the Moroccan and African cooperatives, in order to encourage their acceleration and to improve the competitiveness of the sector and its impact;
• Promotion of research-action and experimentation of new approaches and innovative tools related to the development of the social and solidarity economy;
• This convention will also enable the two institutions to strengthen the exchange of data and best practices in terms of initiatives promoting innovation and excellence of social and solidarity economy actors and the creation of sustainable impact on their local and national ecosystems.
