L’Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique a obtenu, le 28 octobre 2020, une accréditation de niveau SILVER au référentiel international (STARS) Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, avec un score de 49.48 points, décernée par « the Association for the Advancement for Sustainability in Higher Education » (AASHE), en reconnaissance aux réalisations de l’UM6P en matière de Développement Durable, dans ses différentes composantes : Formation, Recherche, Opérations, Planification, Administration et Innovation & Leadership.

Cette réalisation exceptionnelle positionne l'UM6P au-devant de la liste des universités pionnières œuvrant pour faire progresser la durabilité à l’échelle internationale, et surtout pour être la première et l'unique université africaine et la plus jeune au Monde à obtenir l’accréditation STARS.
L’équipe Développement Durable de l’UM6P sont à féliciter, qui, en un temps record, ont su valoriser les efforts et les actions en matière de DD de toute la communauté UM6P et qui continueront à œuvrer pour que la composante DD soit prise en compte et pérennisée par toutes et tous, à tous les niveaux.

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University obtained, on October 28th 2020, a SILVER level accreditation to the international standard (STARS) Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, with a score of 49.48 points, awarded by the Association for the Advancement for Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), in recognition of UM6P's achievements in the field of Sustainable Development, in its different components: Training, Research, Operations, Planning, Administration and Innovation & Leadership.
