Le 12 mars, le Département de Développement Durable, en collaboration avec la Faculté des Sciences Médicales, a accueilli des élèves de 5e année de l’American School of Marrakech sur le campus de l’Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique à Benguerir.
La présentation au SD Space a été animée par les Sustainable Development Makers, qui ont initié les élèves à la mission et aux activités du Bureau du Développement Durable. Les élèves ont exploré la notion de durabilité à travers une présentation interactive et des jeux autour des Objectifs de Développement Durable (ODD).
La visite s’est poursuivie par un tour du campus mettant en valeur des projets liés au développement durable, suivi d’une visite guidée des laboratoires de la Faculté des Sciences Médicales, offrant aux élèves un premier aperçu de la recherche scientifique et de l’innovation.
L’expérience s’est conclue par un atelier pratique de plantation organisé par le Centre d’Innovation Agricole et de Transfert de Technologie à travers le projet Go Plant, encourageant les élèves à se reconnecter à la nature et à comprendre l’importance de la protection de notre planète.
On March 12, the Sustainable Development Office, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medical Sciences, welcomed 5th grade students from the American School of Marrakech to the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic campus in Benguerir.
The presentation at the SD Space was led by the Sustainable Development Makers, introducing students to the mission and activities of the Sustainable Development Office. Students explored the meaning of sustainability through an interactive presentation and SDG-themed games.
The visit continued with a campus tour showcasing sustainability projects, followed by a guided visit to the Faculty of Medical Sciences laboratories, offering students a first glimpse into scientific research and innovation.
The experience concluded with a hands-on planting workshop organized by the Agricultural Innovation and Technology Transfer Center through the Go Plant project, encouraging students to connect with nature and understand the importance of protecting our planet.
