En collaboration avec AITTC et Facility Management, le département Développement Durable a lancé un projet de collecte et de valorisation du pain gaspillé. Cette initiative consiste en l’installation de dispositifs de collecte permettant de mesurer la quantité de pain jetée. Ces dispositifs servent également d’outil de sensibilisation dans la lutte contre le gaspillage alimentaire.
Le pain collecté est ensuite utilisé pour nourrir les poules de la ferme expérimentale, offrant ainsi une solution durable et responsable de valorisation des déchets alimentaires.
Les Gachipains sont installés à plusieurs points de restauration sur le campus : Restaurant T1, Restaurant CCI, Modulaire et SHBM.
In collaboration with AITTC and Facility Management, the SD Department has launched a project for the collection and recovery of wasted bread.This initiative involves the installation of collection devices that measure the amount of wasted bread. These devices also serve as an awareness tool in the fight against food waste. The collected bread is then used to feed the chickens at the experimental farm, providing a sustainable and responsible solution for food waste recovery.
The Gachipains are installed at several dining points on campus : T1 Restaurant, CCI Restaurant, Modulaire, and SHBM.
